     "You can help," Counter walked over to Taki and grabbed him lightly by the chin. "If this feels right, I'm gay, if not I'm straight." Before Taki had time to respond Counters lips had collided with his, and it felt so amazing that a new word had to be created to describe the feeling. It was better than the first strawberry in spring, better than finding a spring when you've been in the desert for a year. It was so sweet, delicious, and gentle.
     When they pulled away from each other and just stared. Not saying anything, not knowing what to say, what could be said? Taki then took a deep breath and finally choked out the word, "well . . ."
     Counter bit his bottom lip and stared at his hands, his face was a deep red. "Um . . . it . . . was . . . how; well, should I put it."
     "I'm sorry I know it was horrible! You decided to be straight I know you did." Taki couldn't help but to blurt out, and he didn't even realize that little tears started to stream out his eyes. Counter stiffened a little laugh; Taki's small tears were now shallow, fast sobs, "What's so funny."
    "It's that I believe I'm gay." Taki stopped sobbing and stared at Counter, "Really . . . you mean it . . . " Taki's eyes got wide as he wiped his tear, stained face.
    "Yes, and you my friend may be my boyfriend . . . unless . . . you don't want me."  
    Taki nodded his head he wanted him, no more like needed him. There was an awkward silence for a while. No one moved nor did they speak. It was a moment when words wouldn't come they couldn't. A moment of silence and peace the only sound in the room were the heartbeats of the two boys. In what felt like five life times Counter finally spoke up.
    "I think I over stayed my welcome I better go."
    "No, no you no trouble you can stay longer, "Taki pleaded. Then he remembered that his parents are going to be home soon. "Oh yeah my parents . . . there coming home, and they really don't accept my sexuality." Taki sighed, "if they found out I had a boyfriend they'd either kick me out, hurt you, or make me more miserable."
    Counter looked at him with sympathy, "if it's so bad here why don't you leave I mean you have a lot of money you could buy a house of your own."
    Taki's eyes lit up as he looked at Counter, "You're right! I never thought of that before, and if I bought a house you could move in and stop living on the street."
    "That would benefit us both then huh."
    Taki nodded, this was a plan, a plan that he couldn't back out of. Something that would change both there lives forever.
    Counter gave a small nod, "Then it's settled. You find a way to get as much money as you can. Now I better get going, when the plan is done meet me by the lake."
    "Okay, but what time should I be there?"
